Our services are delivered personally by Mario Zaspel, MA DPSI MCIL CL RPSI, a Chartered Linguist and NRPSI-registered interpreter with more than ten years of professional interpreting experience.

Mario has worked extensively in legal, technical and commercial environments, facilitating communication between German- and English-speaking professionals. His experience includes international business meetings, technical presentations, specialist discussions and assignments requiring accurate communication in demanding professional settings.

We provide both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, depending on the format and requirements of the event.

Consecutive interpreting is particularly suitable for smaller meetings, presentations and discussions, where the speaker pauses to allow the interpreter to convey the message.

Simultaneous interpreting enables participants to follow presentations and discussions in real time, typically using specialist interpreting equipment. For longer events requiring continuous simultaneous interpreting, we can work alongside a second interpreter to ensure appropriate breaks and maintain interpreting quality.

With more than ten years of professional interpreting experience, Mario Zaspel brings extensive linguistic expertise and practical knowledge of legal, technical and commercial environments to conference and event interpreting.

As a Chartered Linguist (CL), Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL), holder of the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) and an NRPSI-registered interpreter, Mario combines recognised professional qualifications with substantial experience working directly with international businesses, legal professionals and technical specialists.

His work has included interpreting at high-level business meetings, technical presentations, specialist training sessions and international projects involving German- and English-speaking participants.

Preparation is essential to successful conference interpreting, particularly when presentations involve specialist terminology or complex subject matter.

Where available, we review conference programmes, presentations, speeches and relevant background documents in advance. This allows us to become familiar with the terminology, speakers and objectives of the event.

We work closely with organisers to establish the most appropriate interpreting arrangements, including the format of the event, equipment requirements and whether additional interpreting support may be necessary.
