Professional Qualifications & Standards

Legal interpreting requires more than fluency in two languages. It demands specialist terminology, an understanding of legal procedures and the ability to communicate accurately and impartially, often in sensitive or demanding circumstances.

Mario Zaspel holds an MA and a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI). He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL), holds Chartered Linguist (CL) status and is registered with the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) for German at Full status.

With more than a decade of professional interpreting experience, Mario combines recognised qualifications with extensive practical experience in courts, police stations and other legal environments.
